The following is a list of commonly asked questions that are always asked. These questions have been compiled into a list for the convenience of folks wanting information or having questions about the spot. 1. What is the Spot Fishing Rental?
The spot are three areas along the upper Arroyo Colorado River that have been cleared out and maintained for people to rent and fish.
2. Do you guarantee a catch?
No place is going to guarantee a catch, but THERE ARE FISH THERE!! Gar, catfish as well as redfish, drum, flounder, snook and trout are in abundance.
3. Do you offer refund?
NO!! All SALES ARE FINAL!!!! In the event of bad weather or you are unable to make it, you can reschedule to a different date at no additional charge. The Spot Fishing Rental reserve the right to reschedule you in the event of foul weather.
4. Where are you located?
Harlingen, Texas. About a mile past the Harlingen Soccer Complex, headed out of Harlingen towards the Port of Harlingen.
5. What are your rules?
KEEP THE AREA CLEAN!!! All spots cleaned on a weekly basis for the enjoyment of my renters. If you leave a big mess, you will be charged a $65 charge on your next visit to THE SPOT as well as the normal rental fees. Keep nature beautiful.
6. What can I bring?
Anything you like. Example, lighting (for night fishing) coolers, tents, bbq pits, etc.
7. Do I need to make reservations?
YES!! Reservations / booking is required. PRE PAYMENT IS REQUIRED. If you would like to book a area call or text 956-742-5502
8. Is the area safe?
All my area's are safe and great for the family and friends. Some area's have uneven ground, so watch your footing when going to and from fishing area.

9. Camping allowed?
Yes tent camping is allowed as well as small camp fires.
10. Are there restrooms?
No. However there is a stripes less then a few mins away for restroom breaks.
11. Is your price per person?
No. It's a flat rate for your group. You can have 2 or 12 persons, still same price. For larger groups of 12 or more it is $5 per person.
