About The Spot

 

The Spot Fishing Rental is dedicated in loving memory of Dr. Antonio L. Santos, my dad.    The idea was born about 10 years ago in the summer of 2015.

The idea of the spot was born when Mr. Jesse Garcia, a friend of my dad and I, ask if he could fish in the area and clear it out.  The area over several months, was cleared by him and his family and it was a hang out for his family and my self to go fishing and enjoy this area along the Arroyo Colorado.     I am very grateful and thankful to him, his boys and family for the beginning stages of The Spot Fishing Rental.  Later spot #2 was cleared as a alternatives spot for renters, and in the spring of 2022 spot #3 was created.  

 

A few friends suggested that I should rent the area, I didn't think much of it and shrugged the suggestion off, until the summer of 2015, I decided to try it.  The response was a great success and I have been blessed with some wonderful customers and people who also share the love of fishing.

The Spot is a testimony that my dad is still watching over me.   He taught me the love of fishing and hunting at a young age.  Just like his logo above shows, this was my dad's prescription for life, love of fishing, hunting, boating, the sea, and God.  

 

 I am extremely grateful for this blessing he left me and my family when he left this earth in April of 2015.
